Course Guide
In our school, there are 4 courses: a Commercial course, an Information
Processing course, an Accounting course and an International Business course.
In every course, you study both common subjects, such as Japanese and math,
and special (commercial) subjects. In the commercial
classes, you study the economic system, including marketing, bookkeeping, data
processing, and word processing. The number of credits of special subjects
depends on the course you choose. But all students take bookkeeping, data
processing, 3rd year project, and a mock business class. You will acquire
business manners, business knowledge and skills which are necessary in your
career.
Commercial course: To become a person of ability in society through the study
of marketing In this course, you will acquire more in-depth knowledge of
the commercial subjects. In the 2nd and 3rd grades, you take classes which fit
your future plans. You are expected to become a person of ability in society
through the study of the role and system of commerce and the practice of
clerical work, accounting, and marketing.
Information Processing course: To become competitive in today's "information
society" through computer knowledge and skill We can't do without
computers in modern society. In this course, you acquire skill in computerized
data processing and also study the role and meaning of data processing. In the
3rd grade, you take classes which are suitable for your interests and future
plans. The goal is to become a professional programmer, system engineer or
system administrator.
Accounting course: To get certified in special fields and become an expert in
accounting To become an expert in your field, you study special subjects
such as bookkeeping and accounting. Also, you study to pass the bookkeeping test
administered by the Japan Chamber of Commerce. Passing this exam will aid you in
entering universities, especially by recommendation, and in finding a job. The
level of accounting and bookkeeping in this course is higher than in other
courses.
International Economics course: To study foreign languages and understand
foreign affairs You spend more time studying foreign languages; language
classes are held in small groups and also teach cross-cultural understanding. In
English conversation class, you improve your abilities to listen and to express
yourself. In special subject classes, you acquire knowledge and skills in
marketing, word processing, and other useful areas. In the 2nd grade, you go on
a school trip for the purpose of meeting a foreign culture and developing
international awareness.
Club Activities We recommend that you take part in a club activity to
